The Canterbury Community Association has launched the Fall 2011 programs. Many of your favourite programs have returned along with a few new offerings.

New to our program line-up this fall are: Conversational Spanish – Advanced (page 13), Argentine Tango – Levels 1 and 2 (page 15), Thai Yoga (page 19), Mother & Daughter Yoga (page 20), Introduction to Tai Chi (page 22), Painting with Oils (page 24) and Zumba Gold (page 27).
Ballroom & Latin dancing is making a comeback on Sunday afternoons and we are pleased to introduce Francine and Andre Beaulne as your instructors. Learn more about them by visiting www.francineandre.com

Special Events
The annual Canterbury Community Association’s Christmas Craft Sale will be held on Sunday, November 27th from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. This sold out event promises to be better than ever. Parking is free and an on site canteen is available.
The Canterbury Community Centre will be bustling with activity and Christmas cheer on Saturday, December 10th. Councillor Peter Hume and his staff will be hosting Breakfast with Santa from 8 a.m. – 10 a.m. This is a fun, family event offering great food and good times for the entire family!
Also join us for the “Tinsel Tea” on Wednesday, December 7th from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. This holiday celebration is a co-operative venture between the City of Ottawa and the Canterbury Community Association. There is no charge to participate, but a donation to the Food Bank would be appreciated. For more information, please call 613-247-4869.
And for those of you who like to plan ahead, the tables for the C.C.A.’s annual Gigantic Indoor Garage Sale go on sale Saturday, March 3, 2012 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. This event always sells out quickly, so mark this date on your calendar. The sale itself is scheduled for Sunday, April 15, 2012 from 10 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
