The Canterbury Community Association welcomes you to the Canterbury Community Centre located in the City of Ottawa's Alta Vista Ward.

CCA PROGRAMS
The Canterbury Community Association is pleased to present its Fall 2010 and Winter 2011 program guide. You'll find many of your favourite programs are back and are joined by a wide selection of new programs to keep you entertained and fit! Please see page 8 for “Yoga Gym for Kids”, page 15 for ‘Introduction to Spanish' and page 20 for ‘Women's Self-Defense”, just to name a few. Please see page 2 for registration dates.

You will notice that this program guide includes both our Fall 2010 and Winter 2011 programs. For the first time this fall, we have included both sessions in one flyer. We will not be producing and mailing a second flyer this winter. As our program flyer is distributed to 30,000 addresses per printing, this results in a significant reduction of paper use. Please help us stay “green” by consulting our website to obtain programming and registration information. The next printing of our program flyer will be in April 2011 and will include our Spring and Summer 2011 programs.

Pages 4 and 5 list the C.C.A.'s Special Events calendar. Here you will find the dates for our ever popular Christmas Craft Sale and Gigantic Indoor Garage Sale, along with other events happening at the Community Centre between September 2010 and April 2011. We invite you to check out our Karate Open House on September 1, 2010, with a chance to win a free fall Karate membership (see page 5).

We look forward to another busy and exciting year at the Canterbury Community Centre. Should you have further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at 613-738-8998 or e-mail me at programs@cca-acc.ca .

While the centre itself is a city-owned facility and is part of the Canterbury Recreational Complex which also includes the Canterbury Pool and the Brian Kilrea Arena, the Canterbury Community Association (CCA) is responsible for developing and delivering the programming at the centre from September to June in three separate program sessions - Fall, Winter and Spring. During the months of July and August, the City of Ottawa operates its summer camp program.
The CCA is proud to be able to work in partnership with the City of Ottawa in order to bring city residents a comprehensive programming schedule which involves all age groups and which is delivered by knowledgeable and experienced instructors in a caring and safe environment.

The CCA believes in working with its community partners in order to give local residents of all ages the programming and services they deserve!
